Holiday Luncheon: Best Learning Ideas of 2014

Join us for our annual holiday luncheon and "Best Learning Ideas of 2014!" We'll be sharing membership best practices and learning ideas to celebrate Employee Learning Week and have the following member spotlight presentations:

“Wells Fargo’s Common Approach to Instructional Design”

Support of instructional designers across their company has been a key success at Wells Fargo. Learn how Wells Fargo supports its instructional designers through a common design approach and certificate program.

Presented by:

Mary O. Brown
Instructional Design Senior Consultant
Wells Fargo & Co

"WWT: An 18-month Journey in Employee Learning"

Just 18 months ago World Wide Technology began its journey into enterprise learning for employees. Hear how a team, initially starting with only two people, has grown and successfully met the exponentially growing  needs for OLT, ILT and Virtual learning opportunities in their organization. Select demos of a few of the online courses developed by their team will also be shared.

Presented by:

Caroline Dungan
IT Training Manager, World Wide Technology
Kris Kriegel
Team Lead - ID Design Team, World Wide Technology

Be sure to bring your own Best Learning Ideas from 2014 to share! To help us celebrate - We'll also have a few fun learning activities planned and be giving away attendance prizes throughout the meeting.

Holiday Book Drive

An event within the event! We all have them - a surplus of training books we have collected over time.

  • Bring your surplus training and development books to the Holiday luncheon!
  • Donate them to the Holiday Book Drive, buy other titles you might see for a $1 each (additional donations accepted)
  • And we'll donate the proceeds to charity.

You clear your shelves, get some new titles, and the proceeds go to a good cause - it's a win + win + win!
