Overview: Developing and retaining talent is a key priority for organizations of all sizes. How well organizations identify and develop talent through succession planning process directly effects their long-term success. This seminar provides talent development leaders with strategies for creating and implementing departmental and organizational succession plans.

Speaker Information: 

Dr. Mary Kay Taylor, MBA, APTD, GTML is President of Pole Star Consulting, an Experiential Learning and Strategic Talent Management consulting firm based in the Greater St Louis, MO area. Dr. Taylor is a full-time professor as well as a strategic talent management advisor and learning development strategist for organizations nationally. With over 20 years' experience creating learning & development business plans, Mary Kay has made exceptional contributions to talent management, training and development, workforce development, and leadership programs. Mary Kay received her Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Human Resource Management, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Development and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Health Information Management (HIM). She is credentialed as a Global Talent Management Leader (GTML) and an Associate Professional of Talent Development (APTD). Dr. Taylor has consulted for numerous organizations nationwide, published management focused articles, and previously served on the board of directors of various non-profit organizations.
