What Works in Applied AI, What Breaks at Scale

featuring Dr. Markus Bernhardt

AI pilots show early lift, then stall at workflow friction and governance gaps. This Endeavor Report 2.0 briefing shows what works, what breaks, and next moves: triage lens, governance prompts, metrics, 30-day pilot template. Includes Report + Playbook.

High Level Agenda

 Time Duration Description
11:45 CST  10 min Welcome and Cross Chapter Networking
11:55 CST 5 min Introduction to our Featured Speaker
12:00 CST 50 min Featured Speaker - Dr. Markus Bernhardt
12:50 CST  10 min  Q&A, Program Wrap Up, Feedback

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize whether a chosen applied AI initiative is primarily an Execution, Friction, or Governance challenge using a simple triage lens.
  • Identify three repeatable patterns from real use cases that predict whether an initiative will scale, and name the common stall points that cause it to slow or fail.
  • Use a one-page governance prompt set to surface missing owners and boundaries for decision rights, data access, and runtime oversight.
  • Draft one pilot-ready question for their context and define what evidence would justify a decision to proceed, iterate, or stop.
  • Choose two to three credible success signals to evaluate operational lift, adoption in the flow of work, and quality or auditability for one initiative.
  • Select one immediate enablement move appropriate to their role that supports adoption in the workflow, rather than relying on content volume alone.
